BlogsThank You To Everyone Who Supported The Langdon Family Benefit Last Week!Greg and I just wanted to send out a special thanks to everyone who supported us in hosting last weeks benefit for the Langdon Family! We couldn't have pulled this off without the attendance of great friends and very generous donations! A considerable amount of $5200 was raised to assist Becky with Christmas and immediate living expenses. Although no amount of money can make up for the loss of a wonderful husband & father we wanted to help the family out in some small way and provide a relaxing & fun evening for Becky! Through planning this we made a lot of new friends and were able to catch up with old ones. Thanks again! We hope to see everyone at the Memorial 5k run/ walk on April 11th. Kind Regards, Greg & Dana Water Winter Wonderland Post about The Watershed PhotosApril - 3/19/2008 Im sure many of you know this but if you go to The Watershead bar on the corner of marsh and lake lansing road, they have big pictures up on the wall of the old amusment park. I am new to the area and was quite surprised to see there was once an amusment park here....how cool. I have really enjoyed your stories and pictures. Thank you. Fink repainted the building, repaired the floors and added new tables and high definition televisions. Fink’s brother owns the building, but she is the general manager. Fink hopes to add a new patio by the end of this month. “He couldn’t run it anymore, so that’s when I jumped in,” she says. “I wanted to change everything so it didn’t have the old identity from the old owners.” NuvaMarketing, an online business strategy and marketing company, created the new brand identity for the Watershed Tavern & Grill. Fink says business has “absolutely” increased since she took over. “July is usually our slowest month and we really haven’t felt it this year,” she says. “It’s been consistent and that’s been really positive.” The Watershed Tavern & Grill is located at 5965 MarshRd. in Haslett.
